Huntington County Coffee Connections

Come and enjoy a fresh cup of coffee, lively conversation, and make connections at the popular Huntington County Coffee Connections. This event is held on the first Wednesday of each month at the Habecker Dining Commons on the campus of Huntington University beginning at 8 a.m.

Veterans Day Parade 2025

Saturday, November 8, 2025
The Veterans Day Parade will be held on Saturday, November 8. The parade staging will take place at Huntington North High School (HNHS) beginning at 9 a.m. with the parade starting at 10 a.m. This year’s parade route will begin at HNHS and travel east to N. Jefferson Street, down Jefferson Street to Park Drive, then west on Park Drive to Memorial Park. There will be a ceremony at the park directly following the parade. Refreshments will be served at the park.

Christmas in the City

Saturday, November 29, 2025
Downtown Huntington will begin to look a lot like Christmas on Saturday, November 29 when Christmas in the City is celebrated. From 3 to 5:30 p.m., children along with their families are invited to enjoy horse-drawn wagon rides by Sentimental Journey, games, photos around the community, a visit with Santa at the Courthouse, a Christmas tree lighting at Rotary Centennial Park and much more. Be sure to mark your calendars for this year’s Christmas in the City event. All activities are free to those who attend. The opportunities for fun will be located in various places throughout the downtown area. Downtown stores and restaurants will also be open.
